Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management suite, including:
o IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)
o IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
o IBM Rhapsody
• Perform all administrative functions for the IBM Engineering tools, including user management, license management, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and training to engineering teams on the effective use of the IBM Engineering tools.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the IBM Engineering tools and processes.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of the IBM Engineering tools with other systems.
• Manage and maintain the DB2 database associated with the IBM Engineering tools.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IBM Engineering tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
• Required Skills & Experience:
o Proven experience as an IBM Engineering SME, with in-depth knowledge of:
IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)
IBM Rhapsody
o Experience with performing administrative tasks and providing support for the IBM Engineering tools.
o Experience with DB2 database administration and management.
o Valid Security+ certification.
o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
o Experience with the following IBM Engineering tools:
IBM DOORS
IBM DOORS Web Access (DWA)
IBM Rational Publishing Engine (PUB)
IBM Method Composer
o Experience with web-based tools and technologies.
