*8-hour day shift on-site Monday through Friday during clinic hours 7:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!

We are seeking a courteous and energetic Referral Coordinator to join a leading healthcare clinic. The ideal candidate will maintain a consistently positive attitude and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. The role requires exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Referral Coordinators must uphold professionalism at all times and strive to meet or exceed patient expectations.

Referral Coordinator Job

Coordinate outside appointments and procedures for patients daily per physician orders

Communicate with clinic staff to ensure patient has a clear understanding of referral expectations i.e. location, time, and preparation details

Diligently follow up with booking appointments maintaining a high level of ownership to fully complete tasks

Consistently gather and track referral information and details

Inform patient care team of any changes or unique circumstances regarding referrals

Ensure all necessary medical documentation is processed according to standard procedures

Nurture positive relationships with external offices

Assist in answering phone calls professionally and directing them to the appropriate department

Must be able to learn and assimilate information rapidly

Must be cheerful and exude positive energy that helps patients feel you are caring for them

Must be a self-starter and be able to create structure within their own environment

Must be able to work and function with ease on a computer

Must have an ownership spirit who wants to excel at their position
