Our Impact:

The Data and AI Risk & Governance Lead will play a meaningful role in driving divisional objectives for data governance and implementing the safe and effective use of AI technologies within our firm. You'll collaborate across teams to drive risk management strategies.

Your Impact:

Engage with multiple partners across all divisions and risk domains affording opportunities to build robust relationships across the Enterprise. Responsibilities include:

Partner Collaboration: Work with legal, technical, and business teams to communicate risk findings and drive informed decision-making.

Risk Assessment and Remediation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of divisional data management and AI projects and recommend mitigation strategies.

Policy Development: Develop and maintain AI governance guidance, ensuring alignment across the organization considering industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Ethical AI Advocacy: Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI practices.

Security Support: Work closely with Information security teams to advise data management practices and address AI-specific security risks.

Compliance Oversight: Monitor for adherence to data and AI policies and standards, offering guidance as needed.

Training and Awareness: Help develop enterprise training to raise awareness of data management and AI risks and standard methodologies

Metrics and Reporting: Partner on crafting appropriate enterprise KPIs, KRIs and Reporting to monitor risk in model data and AI programs.

Qualifications:

8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience in operational risk management including exposure to technology risk, information risk and/or model risk management

2-5 years of management and leadership experience

Strong knowledge of Data Management standard methodologies and AI technologies (e.g. machine learning, natural language processing, large language models and computer vision)

Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry guidelines (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, NIST, ISO/IEC 42001/ 23894)

Excellent communication skills and collaborate skills

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $132,000 - $198,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
