Title: Evening Cleaner/Housekeeping Staff Unit: Part-Time Non-Unit Staff Department: Facilities Management Reports to: Assistant Director of Building Services Date: January 28, 2025 General Summary: An evening cleaner/housekeeping staff focuses on cleaning the buildings and facilities during and after operational hours.
The individual will be expected to handle standard custodial responsibilities in addition to managing janitorial inventory and equipment.
Additionally, there is an expectation that the individual ensures that offices and buildings remain secured and are secured after the shift.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Cleaning and vacuuming floors * Emptying trash * Replacing restroom supplies * Disinfect surfaces to COVID-19 standards * Steam cleaning floors * Working with other cleaning staff to handle larger jobs Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Experience with equity-minded work and/or understanding of individuals of diverse identities such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, veterans, and individuals with different academic preparation levels and varying physical and learning abilities.
