Interim Director of Youth Ministries Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church Summary: The Interim Director of Youth Ministries is a part-time position (20 hours/week) providing leadership and coordination for youth discipleship at Tabernacle EPC.

The primary responsibilities include organizing and overseeing the Awana classes for grades 6-12, and planning youth ministry programming with a special focus on the church's current group of 6th-8th grade students, and running a Sunday School class.

This role is essential in fostering spiritual growth and meaningful relationships among our middle and high school youth during a season of transition.

Salary: $20,000-25,000 Vacation Time: None Paid Holidays Off (if it lands on a normal workday): New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day Reports to: Pastor Responsibilities: Awana Coordination * Oversee and coordinate Awana programming for grades 6-12.

* Communicate regularly with 6-12 Awana volunteers, leaders, and families.

* Ensure curriculum, materials, and logistics are prepared weekly.

* Provide support and encouragement to Awana teachers and leaders.

Youth Programming (Middle School/Junior High Focus) * Plan and lead age-appropriate discipleship opportunities for 6th-8th grade students.

* Develop relationships with and among youth.

* Teach a 6-12 Sunday School class * Coordinate occasional events, gatherings, or service opportunities to foster community and faith formation.

* Communicate with parents and guardians regarding schedules, events, and spiritual goals.

Other responsibilities * Seek to live as Christ-like example to youth, parents, and others * Work collaboratively with the pastor, Session, and volunteer leaders to ensure continuity and spiritual care during the interim period * Foster personal spiritual formation through prayer, worship, and scripture Salary: $0-$29K Requirements Candidate will need to be on-site at least Wednesday evenings for AWANA, Sunday morning for bible study and available for staff meetings.
