Job Description

Position Title: Shipping/Receiving

Location: Kalamazoo, MI.

Pay Range: $16.00/Hour

Shift: 1st

Schedule: M-F, 6:00AM- 2:30PM

Job Description:

Preparing and shipping outgoing orders.

Must be able to operator a forklift.

Must be able to verifying order details, package items, create shipping labels, and arrange for shipment.

Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and checking for damage.

Interact cross departmentally to ensure quality and accuracy through the process.

May interact with customers, suppliers, and shipping carriers to address issues or questions.

Must maintain a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications:

Using measuring devices, placing shipping labels.

Must have forklift experience.

Ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and shipping processes.

Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift 10 lbs. repetitively

Must be knowledgeable with basic hand tools

Must be able to read tape measure

Experience in a warehouse of distribution center

Required to wear proper PPE at all times.
