Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to support the efficient management of our inventory systems and warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring accurate tracking of materials across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed within authorized limits.

Establish and maintain backup sources for high-demand materials.

Analyze inventory usage reports to recommend recurring automated orders.

Generate timely inventory reports for internal stakeholders.

Foster and manage strong vendor relationships.

Accurately document goods received, and shipments dispatched.

Maintain and enhance inventory software/database systems.

Perform regular spot checks and partial inventory audits.

Assist in company-wide annual physical inventory audits.

Support additional inventory-related functions as required.

Requirements

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong communication skills across internal teams and external vendors.

Working knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

Proficiency with computerized inventory systems and keyboarding.

High attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations reliably.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience in computerized inventory management systems is essential.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.

Capability to lift to 40 lbs as needed.

Must be physically able to navigate the warehouse and access inventory at various heights.
