Assessment Psychologist

Psych experience strongly preferred.

Shift: 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM.

Provides care for patients with acute psychiatric illnesses, including those with medical comorbidities, behavioral disorders, and suicidal ideations in a secured, safety-enhanced unit.

Responsible for delegation, supervision, and nursing care of a patient group, utilizing the nursing process, and incorporating evidence-based practices.

Participates in quality improvement, adheres to ethical standards, and contributes to a caring, patient-centered environment.

Requires Illinois RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to perform patient positioning, transfers, and procedures like IV insertions, with exposure to biohazards and contagious materials.

Shift work and the ability to stand for long periods are necessary.
