Summary:

The competent Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Delegates tasks appropriately to support patient care and collaborates with team members.

Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations, ensuring quality care.

Continues to develop clinical skills and adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities:

Meets competencies related to self, others, and leadership.

Provides nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Addresses patients' complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.

Documents patient information accurately.

Educates patients, families, and caregivers, assessing learning needs and resources.

Job Requirements:

Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.

Requires BLS certification, RN license in the state of employment or compact license.

Part-time position, not exceeding 950 characters.
