RN- Weekend Supervisor

Seeking a practical nurse for a 20-bed telemetry unit specializing in general and bariatric surgery patients, including ERAS, neuro/trauma, hospitalist/medicine, and urology cases.

Provide practical nursing under RN or physician supervision, assisting with data collection, care planning, and evaluation.

Deliver age-appropriate care, participate in the nursing process, and develop interdisciplinary care plans.

Identify educational needs, implement therapeutic plans, administer medications, and advocate for patients' rights.

Contribute to performance improvement, support organizational initiatives, and assist in team orientation and development.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, Virginia licensure, BLS certification, and completion of de-escalation training within four months.

No prior experience required; must complete orientation and competency assessments.

This full-time position offers evening/night shifts on a rotating schedule at a major hospital.
