Semiconductor Operations Logistics Specialist

The Semiconductor Operations Logistics Specialist manages and optimizes supply chain operations, interfaces with customers and sales for demand planning, supervises materials transfer and product shipment, develops operational plans, ensures customer satisfaction, minimizes liability, and continuously improves planning metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborative Demand Planning: Work with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and customers to develop a collaborative demand plan. Execute the Demand Management Process with manufacturers and suppliers for work order priorities, covering both short and long-term capacity plans.

• Inventory Management: Generate purchase orders and manage inventory. Create a Master Schedule

through resource analysis, including material sizing, capacity sizing, and inventory building.

• Shipping and Receiving: Oversee shipping, storing, and receipt of goods and services. Prepare necessary shipping and export documents for international transactions.

• Compliance and Problem Solving: Resolve any logistical issues that arise and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

• Production Planning: Create and maintain a feasible production plan. Work closely with the operations team to achieve successful execution of the plan.

• Supplier Systems Execution: Execute tasks on TSMC online and other suppliers’ systems.

• Performance Analysis: Review and analyze logistics operations, set objectives, and design strategies to improve performance.

• Continuous Improvement: Monitor planning metrics and drive continuous improvements with manufacturers and suppliers by identifying cost-saving opportunities in material usage variance and yield.

• Revenue Forecasting: Develop revenue forecasts and closely monitor actual performance. Drive immediate corrective actions and recovery plans in case of potential revenue target misses.

Job Qualifications

• 2+ years supply chain logistics experience

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP. Prior Netsuite experience is a strong plus.

• Familiar with TSMC on-line is a plus

• Ability to stay organized with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented. Time management and workload prioritization capabilities are key.

• Deep understanding of supply chain management

• Ability to work with oversea suppliers in odd hours. Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited guidance from executives. Possesses a positive questioning attitude, able and willing to dive into solving the problem with OPS team

• Ability to read and interpret documents within Empower, also suppliers operating and procedure manuals etc.

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization, strong communication skills

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Ability to deal with complex problems involving several concrete variables in various situations
