Volt is immediately hiring General Warehouse Laborer/CNC Operator in SMYRNA, Tennessee United States As a General Warehouse Laborer/CNC Operator- you will be.
Job Description: Material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or loading a truck using MHE.
This will typically require familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment, ability to operate a pallet jack, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift to 50 pounds, and good reading, writing, and communication skills.
Laborers will be using a hot wire machine to reduce the size of our unusable scrap and must utilize PPE each day such as safety shoes (composite/steel toe), protective eyewear (provided), hearing protection(provided), etc.
Laborers will operate CNC machines that will require the material to be loaded onto the machine.
Once the file is completed, they will remove the sheet and stack it appropriately then repeats the process.
We have various other pieces of equipment that if they are required to use, they will be appropriately trained before use.
This position is for the 2nd shift but will be trained on 1st shift for 2 - 3 weeks.
Location: General Warehouse Laborer/CNC Operator Duration: 2 Months Pay: $18/hr.
to $19/hr.
