Job Title: Project Manager Location: Vinita, OK (Hybrid Work Environment) Job Summary: We at System One are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the management of construction and major maintenance projects for one of our clients in Oklahoma.

This role involves working on a variety of projects, including transmission substations, distribution substations, transmission lines, telecommunications towers, and related facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and utilities, with a focus on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Initiate, plan, execute, control, and complete new construction and system upgrade projects.

Oversight: Manage project schedules, costs, quality, safety, and scope, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Environmental Compliance: Prepare Environmental Reports (ERs) in accordance with RUS NEPA guidelines and manage environmental permitting for construction projects.

Contract Management: Prepare RUS Construction Contracts for bidding, evaluate construction bidders, and conduct public bid openings.

Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Telecommunications, and other departments to ensure timely project completion.

Field Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate construction project crews, surveyors, and contractors, maintaining daily communication with on-site inspectors.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve design or construction issues as they arise, ensuring adherence to RUS design criteria.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program is required; an Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 4-9 years in the construction or utility industry, with at least 2 years in a Project Management or Construction Management role.

Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of RUS construction and environmental compliance requirements, as well as electric utility industry standards.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management skills are essential.
