Machine Design Engineer Position – Kent, OH – Full-Time We're on the lookout for a skilled and driven Machine Design Engineer to join our team in Kent, OH.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about designing, developing, and enhancing dip molding and dip coating equipment.

What You'll Do: Engineering and Process Development: Design and develop innovative equipment and tools tailored for dip molding and coating.

Spearhead continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations.

Equipment Design & Development: Generate detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks, incorporating PDM Vault and Simulation tools.

Create automation solutions emphasizing material handling and robotics.

Conduct feasibility studies, perform stress analysis, and manage tolerance calculations.

Project Execution & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and R&D to meet project goals.

Offer technical support in troubleshooting and enhancing machine performance.

Guide the selection of components and materials for bespoke automation solutions.

Innovation and Technology Integration: Keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to spearhead innovation.

Assess and recommend new materials, methods, and tech to enhance manufacturing processes.

Facilitate the integration of automation and robotics into new and existing manufacturing setups.

What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred). At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on machine design and automation.

Expertise in SolidWorks, including PDM Vault and Simulation.

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.

Hands-on experience in material handling automation and robotics.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.
