Hiring a Next.js developer with a high design taste. You'll work with Next.js, backend will be in Django. You will get MEANINGFUL profit share if you perform.
How your day-to-day would look like:
— Translate product specs and Figma mock-ups into fast, responsive pages using Next.js (React + TypeScript) and our Tailwind-based design system, wiring them to Django REST endpoints as needed.
— Own the component library: build, refactor, and document reusable UI blocks so the entire team ships faster while keeping pixel-perfect consistency.
— Hunt and kill UX bugs: trace issues from PostHog session replays or support tickets, patch them, push via CI, and verify the fix in production—often in the same afternoon.
Why apply:
Get to shape the product directly, and publish work the same day to live.
- Full autonomy to work on whatever, as long as it aligns with the goals.
Have tens of thousands of customers use the product every month.
- Work whenever you want, where-ever you want (100% remote and async)
- Fast paced environment with a smart and small team.
When not to apply
You need your hands to be held: We do not have the time to micro-manage your every step. You need
to be comfortable with being proactive.
- You can't function with autonomy: We expect you to own your own tasks and mistakes. You're hired to own a part of the product, not to give us extra headache.
- You have a large ego: The only thing we trust is data. We don't follow our ego and taste, we follow wha the customer and data says.
- You don't care about the customer: Our customer's happiness comes first. We expect you to solve
customer problems fast, either based on support tickets or analyzing screen recordings.
How to apply:
- Send me a one paragraph DM explaining why we should hire you (no ChatGPT bs)
- Add links and examples to back up your words.
