Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.

Job Description

Development Leads collaborate with the Kemper Architects to design the requirements for the project

Offshore development leads manage the offshore developers in allocation of work, managing technical reviews, and adherence to development processes

Create the architecture design document, in collaboration with the Kemper Architecture team

Participate in data governance meetings, for the approval of new data elements being included into the system

Review the new and / or modified Integration services design documents

Provide necessary technical guidance during the sprint planning exercise and brainstorm with other teams on solutions

Manage the deliverables of the development teams

Coordinate inter-workstream dependencies for sprint deliverables

Work with dependent workstreams for code deployments, code merges and environment setups

Escalate any delays in delivery to the leadership team, through the sprint lead's meetings

Support defect triage and defect fixes by involving the right participants.

Assist in environment planning and readiness for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
