Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Configuration/Data Management (CM/DM) Specialist to provide comprehensive configuration and data management support to an established program area. This support mainly involves editing and formatting documents and maintaining configuration control of the document baseline. The CM/DM Specialist will collaborate with program personnel to ensure alignment with contractual requirements, internal standards, and industry best practices. The role involves planning, managing, and reporting on documentation created to fulfill customer configuration requirements and supporting Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) technical editing activities.
Essential Functions:
Perform editing and formatting of technical reports, program status reports, task order proposals, and various other contractually required documents.
Exclusively perform work, manage files, and collaborate with program staff using Microsoft SharePoint.
Experience in utilizing PDM/PLM, Document and Data management applications.
Creating and maintaining configuration baselines of required documentation to include Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
Coordinating Engineering changes ensuring approval requirements are met and implementation is managed.
Ensure rigorous adherence to Contract Performance Work Statement (PWS), policies, procedures, and technical documentation. Provide strategic oversight to ensure that all documentation and configuration records meet or exceed compliance standards. Ensuring content creators follow data identification, marking, review and release procedures.
Integrating with program teams to coordinate deliveries.
Ensuring identification, definition, implementation, release and maintenance of data items and Supplier and Contract Data Requirements List (SDRL and CDRL) schedules are in accordance with program requirements.
Proactively identifying data errors and ensuring accuracy.
Ensure that all program documentation complies with internal standards, formatting requirements, and contractual obligations, and that proper document control procedures are applied.
Coordinate the internal review of documentation.
Qualifications:
Requires proficient knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience and/or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Proficient with the use of Microsoft SharePoint
Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style
Understanding of ASME Y14.100
Understanding of DoD 50101.12-M Procedures for the Acquisition and Management of Technical Data
Knowledge of EIA-649B, EIA-649C or MIL-STD-973 Configuration Management Principles as they apply to both Hardware and Software
Experience reading and understanding Contract Statements of Work
Excellent grammatical and written communication skills
Detail oriented self-starter
Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $61,000 - $114,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
