Self-Direction DSP - Liverpool Area (Job #ME- JC) Direct Support Professional- Liverpool We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an active young man with a developmental disability.

This is a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact by helping him build essential independent living skills, engage in social and fitness activities within the community, and follow behavior management plans.

Key Responsibilities: Support the individual in learning and practicing daily living skills Facilitate participation in community-based social and physical activities Implement and follow behavior support strategies Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Ideal Candidate Will Have: Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (highly preferred) Background or training in special education, caregiving, or related fields Strong understanding of behavior intervention techniques Patience, reliability, and a person-centered approach If you're passionate about making a difference and have the skills to support someone in reaching their full potential, we'd love to hear from you!

Hours and days of work, Summer Hours: Monday through Thursday 1pm to 4pm Friday 1pm to 6pm School Year hours: Monday through Thursday 2:30 to 5pm Friday 3pm to 6pm Payrate: $25.00 Location: Liverpool Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with independent living skills, support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests.

Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus.

A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license are required.
