DevOps Full Stack Developer, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure DevSecOps pipelines to ensure the secure deployment of applications. Assist in the creation and optimization of DevSecOps pipelines that integrate security into every stage of the software development lifecycle, from code creation to deployment. Recommend resources that will help the client manage and securely adopt containers.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with software development, with a focus on DevSecOps and secure deployment of applications

Experience with DevSecOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI

Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with cloud-native security and serverless computing

Knowledge of security principles and practices, including secure coding, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 30 days of start date

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence

Knowledge of industry security standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

DevSecOps Foundation or Certified DevSecOps Engineer certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
