Role Overview:
Our Torpedo Systems Specialist is instrumental in assembling, testing, and diagnosing alternators and regulators for the MK48 torpedo. This critical player in our production team performs detailed circuit evaluations, precision shaft balancing, sophisticated environmental testing, and complete acceptance evaluations prior to integration into torpedoes.
Your Responsibilities:
Conform product assembly and testing to stringent specifications and anticipate all quality benchmarks.
Collaborate and communicate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to satisfy client and corporate targets.
Champion employee safety and product integrity throughout all stages of production.
Drive continuous improvement for flawless quality assurance.
What We Seek:
To excel, candidates should meet the following prerequisites:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
At least three years of experience within electro-mechanical fields in manufacturing or engineering.
Background in facility and equipment management preferred.
Additional Considerations:
Potential for occasional overtime.
Infrequent travel commitments, estimated at 5%.
Beneficial Skills:
Possession of a technical degree in electronics or related engineering disciplines is advantageous.
Familiarity with high/low voltage systems and an array of technical fields such as hydraulics and instrumentation.
ITAR Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use. To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.

Compensation:
Salary begins at $26.00 an hour, extending up to $32.00 in conjunction with bonuses. Final packages reflect individual candidate eligibility.
