ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participates as an active member of the Human Resource team which is ultimately responsible for driving a culture of change that adheres to Company values.

• Must be or able to become forklift certified as a driver.

• Maintain a pallet count, material usage and label inventory.

• Verify that all production reports and give production support as requested.

• Must be able to create work orders and track placement of products.

• Communicate well with all levels of management.

• Must be able to learn product codes numbers, row inventory levels, and inventory process.

• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

• 1-3 years’ experience in warehousing and/or inventory control.

• Experience with the trucking industry, including dealing with truck drivers.

• Working knowledge and experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

• Publisher and Access experience a plus.

• Knowledge and up to date training in a warehousing environment.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to overall strategy and direction of the Company and to make well informed decisions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal and state laws, legal documents, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Microsoft programs

REASONING ABILITY

• Strong basic math skills.

• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining flexibility and composure.

• Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential and sensitive information.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
