Job Title: Mobile Application QA Engineer

Place of Performance: Camp Hill, PA (Onsite)

Minimum Experience: 6+ years of professional QA experience, including mobile application testing

Rate: $40/hr - $48/hr

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Application QA Engineer to join our team in supporting a high-visibility enterprise-level project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms and will play a critical role in ensuring application quality through rigorous manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional and non-functional testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

Ensure robust test coverage by collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering)

Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum meetings) to align QA efforts with development

Execute automated test scenarios with variable data inputs

Conduct regression, performance, stress, unit, and integration testing

Log and track bugs using test management and defect tracking tools

Contribute to continuous quality improvements and advocate for QA best practices within the development team

Support UAT and coordinate across teams for end-to-end testing initiatives

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

6+ years in software QA, preferably in mobile application environments

Experience testing native iOS and Android applications

Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in writing structured test cases, test plans, and defect reports

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management systems

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team environment

Desired:

Experience with mobile automation testing tools

Hands-on experience with API testing

Knowledge of Selenium, LoadRunner, or JMeter

Familiarity with performance and stress testing for mobile applications
