Summary of the Role:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining 100% accuracy in inventory keeping processes. They are responsible for ensuring Maitri dispensaries are always within state compliance requirements with respect to inventory management. This role will complete and archive daily/weekly/monthly inventory counts and assist leadership during routine state auditing. Must assist in patient-facing menu information regarding products and pricing. Will be responsible for processing all vendor deliveries electronically and adhere to all regulations with respect to the delivery intake process.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate inventory across all operated dispensaries, including product quantities, descriptions, and depictions on digital menus.
Program, publish, and troubleshoot all promotions, discounts, and sales on inventory as created by the Marketing Manager and approved by the Retail & Wholesale Directors
Follow company processes, policies, and state-compliance requirements.
Ensure inventory regulations put forth by the state are maintained at 100% accuracy.
Support all Dispensary Managers to ensure the dispensaries have the proper inventory controls in place.
Monitor and review any daily/weekly audits of all inventory rooms and process any adjustments in Dutchie.
Assisting in financial audit counts, as necessary.
Develop processes to consistently streamline and improve dispensary-level inventory management
Ensure the dispensary has a documentation process in place including physical copies of all counts that is complete/compliant with state regulations and includes:
Monitor and review Daily/Weekly/Monthly inventory counts.
Collect & store Inventory Discrepancy and Reconciliation Log
Assist Dispensary GMs in investigating inventory discrepancies and reconciling as necessary.
Generate accurate and up to date inventory info on all patient facing menu’s (in-store and online)
Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to prioritize in the face of multiple tasks.
Excellent communication, people skills, and ability to build rapport.
Deadline-oriented, problem solving, continuous mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs.
Detail-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in inventory management and/or dispensary operations.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Minimum of a high school education or equivalent college degree, preferred.
Must currently have and be able to maintain an active driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to constantly sit, stand, for periods in stationary position, or frequently move about, as needed.
Ability to adjust to shifting travel and security circumstances and facilitate operations accordingly.
Ability to lift, load or- unload, move, position, and transport items up to fifty pounds.
Recognition of exposure to kief, to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts.
Willingness to work flexible days/times extended hours when required to, and to be flexible with schedule and availability, travel, when necessary, fulfill company growth requirements, sometimes with little notice.
