About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the premium mulch and lawn care industry, is looking for a skilled Citation CJ3 Pilot to join their team. Responsibilities
Pilot and Manage Flights:
Safely operate Citation CJ3 flights under Part 91
Manage all stages from planning to execution
Mission Planning:
Plan routes, manage weight & balance
Organize fuel stops and coordinate with FBOs
Ensure Quality Control:
Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections
Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards
Customer Experience:
Customize each trip for VIP comfort
Coordinate catering, ground transportation, and in-flight requests
Communication:
Maintain professional communication with owner’s office, ground teams, and ATC
Safety Culture:
Actively participate in CRM training, safety briefings, and recurrent checks
Requirements
Type Rating:
CE-525s type rating preferred
Alternatively, complete company-sponsored 3-week CJ3 type rating course
Flight Experience:
Total Flight Time: 1,200+ hours
Multi-Engine Land Time: 500+ hours
Instrument Flight Time: 75+ hours
Night Flight Time: 100+ hours
Proven excellence in corporate or owner-operator environments
Certifications:
FAA commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating
Current Class 2 (or above) medical certificate
Clean FAA record (no recent incidents or enforcement actions)
Soft Skills:
Discretion, courtesy, and professionalism around senior leadership
Strong decision-making and situational awareness
Relocation:
Willingness to relocate to Columbus, OH
