Orthopedic Surgery - Utilization Review Contract (1099) Minnesota State Medical License Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other physicians?Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patients treatment approved?Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week, however, there are no minimum expectations.Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:You will be covered under MRIoAs Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations patient records cannot leave the US).Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.
