Description A Brief Overview Provides a continuum of Audiology services that include the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation and treatment of patients with hearing or communication impairments.

May participate in the implementation of the infant hearing screening and assessment program at UHCMC, program development, student preceptorship and other advanced Audiologists duties.

Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.Qualifications Education\n\nMaster's Degree in Audiology (Required) and\nDoctorate Degree in Audiology (Preferred)\n\n Work Experience\n\n2+ years Of experience in a medical setting with adult and pediatric patients, hearing aids, OAEs, ENGs, and evoked response audiometry (Preferred) \n\n Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities\n\nFundamental knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices related to Audiology, appropriate to the developmental/chronological age of patients on caseload.

(Required proficiency)\nExposure and familiarity with audiometric equipment including audiometers, audiometric booths, immittance bridges, otoacoustic emissions, electronystamograph, auditory evoked responses, VRA, TROCA.
