RK Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Recovery Technician to join our team, specializing in the inspection, repair, and reassembly of industrial casters and cart assemblies used in Semiconductor Fab Equipment installations. As an Asset Recovery Technician, you will perform quality inspections, minor repairs, and re-assembly of industrial casters and cart assemblies used in Semiconductor Fab Equipment installations. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, both in physical and numerical aspects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision are maintained throughout the inspection and repair processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Correctly evaluate the condition of used equipment being returned from customer Fabs and ensure restoration to acceptable standards for re-use by our client and Remote Factories
Follow written SWI’s (Standard Work Instructions) and training videos
Understand how to read drawings, specs, and gauge measurements
Safely lift and move large and sometimes heavy items
Work safely in and around warehouse environments with large crates and equipment such as ladders, hoists, and forklifts, and use power tools to disassemble/assemble various size crates for extraction of parts or repackaging of refurbished parts
Perform computer transactions in SAP modules to receive, process, and keep track of material for inventory management
Follow established warehouse protocols for keeping the work area safe, clean, and organized
Perform all other assigned duties as needed
Abilities:
Intermediate to advanced understanding of hand tools, torque wrenches, light power tools, and equipment used for repair and maintenance of mechanical assemblies
Good mechanical abilities and judgment to evaluate minor to moderate damage to caster fixtures and carry out repairs
Willingness and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
2+ years of technician experience (preferably in a mechanical or industrial setting)
Strong understanding of hand tools, torque wrenches, and light power tools
Good mechanical abilities and judgment to evaluate and repair minor to moderate damage
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and gauge measurements
Prior forklift certification or operating skills (in-house certification required)
Proficiency in performing computer transactions in SAP modules for inventory management
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and follow established safety protocols
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions and training videos

Salary Description
