The purpose of the EEO Enforcement Supervisor is to act as a team lead and provide direction to subordinate employees dealing with complex employment discrimination matters based on the South Carolina Human affairs Law and to assist employees regarding resolution of employment complaints. Employee also assists in planning to meet agency objectives and values as related to employment discrimination matters.

Responsibilities of the EEO Enforcement Supervisor:

Under limited supervision serves as a supervisor for Employment Investigators providing guidance to employees regarding Title VI I, EEOC and the South Carolina Human Affairs Law as it relates to relevant information and legal theories in employment law. Reviews employees' cases regarding their recommendation of case disposition of employment discrimination complaints and ensures that employees adhere to Commission's procedures, requirements, and standards relevant to State and Federal laws.

Provides planning of services to meet EEOC Contract, agency goals, mission, vision, and values, and maintains accurate reports and evaluations regarding team members' performance and services.

Assists in training and mentoring investigators.

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

Additional Requirements:

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to conduct complex analyses and interpretations.

Some statewide and local travel may be required.
