Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the associate dean the faculty member is responsible for instruction in the Radiologic Technology program. The faculty member is responsible for teaching courses; coordinating clinical instruction, including procuring clinical sites and managing student clinical experiences; designing and developing curriculum; evaluating student performance; and advising students.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree, at least two (2) years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, and one (1) year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program. Candidates will also have current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography. Must hold current/or obtain certification from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate must be knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation and academic advising. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
