Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: M - F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Reno, NV 89506
Hourly Pay: $22/hr
About the Job:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist (Logistics Auditor) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics operations. This role involves verifying inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding company quality and compliance standards within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Audit inbound and outbound orders for 100% accuracy.
Interact with pickers and unloaders to meet quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Verify and receive materials into inventory.
Mark and inventory packages for storage or transit.
Palletize and shrink-wrap shipments.
Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Follow company safety rules and report any noncompliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in order verification or warehouse operations preferred.
Audit experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent math and counting skills.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office.
