What You’ll Do
Edit social ads & shorts: Craft vertical videos ( 60 sec) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Fast-turnaround edits: Take raw footage, UGC, and storyboards to finished cuts under tight deadlines
Motion graphics & effects: Use After Effects (and Premiere Pro) to add titles, transitions, lower thirds, and simple animations
Polish & refine: Color grade, audio mix, and sound-design so every cut snaps
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work directly with Creative Director, Designers, and Marketing to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment
Iterate quickly: Incorporate feedback, test cuts for engagement, and continually optimize for performance metrics (views, CTR, completion rate)
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years’ experience editing short-form social content or digital ads
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Internet culture savvy: You live on TikTok/Instagram, understand meme formats, trends, pacing, and can translate that into thumb-stopping content
Attention to detail: Pixel-perfect framing, seamless cuts, and clean deliverables (no spelling/video glitches)
Speed & adaptability: Thrive in a high-velocity environment, juggling multiple projects without sacrificing quality
Strong communication: Clear, proactive updates and openness to feedback
Self-starter mentality: You own your schedule, anticipate needs, and push projects forward
Nice to Have
Motion-design chops beyond basic animations (e.g., kinetic typography)
Experience with social-ad platforms’ specs and A/B testing workflows
Familiarity with Adobe Media Encoder, plugins (e.g., FilmConvert, Red Giant)
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop)
