The Azure Data Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-native data integration solutions. The role focuses on building Azure Data Factory pipelines, leveraging Azure Function Apps written in C#, and automating deployments using Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in integrating diverse data sources, building ETL/ELT solutions, and ensuring secure and performant data workflows in a modern cloud ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related technologies
Write and maintain C#-based Azure Function Apps to support complex pipeline logic
Implement CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps for source control, testing, and deployment
Integrate external data sources (e.g., APIs) and cloud databases such as Snowflake and Synapse Analytics
Securely manage secrets and keys using Azure Key Vault
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to enable effective data visualizations in Tableau
Utilize Postman to test, debug, and document REST APIs involved in the data flow
Maintain thorough documentation for data flows, APIs, and code repositories
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and function app performance
Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and related technologies
Proficient in C#
Skilled in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Snowflake
Knowledge of securing resources using Azure Key Vault
Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
Working knowledge of Postman for API testing and documentation
Ability to work with Tableau to support data visualization needs
Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Git-based version control and agile methodologies

Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, candidates must have a minimum of 4 ADDITIONAL years related experience in a Microsoft Azure environment in financial services or other highly regulated industry.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a financial services or retail banking environment with all of the following:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Function Apps (C#)
Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
Azure Data Lake
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Key Vault
Snowflake
Tableau
Postman and REST APIs
Experience with startup environments and a track record of successfully delivering projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Snowflake SnowPro Certification
Computer Skills:
Experience with Azure cloud computing platform
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools and processes
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with automated UAT testing tools
MS productivity suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

This is a remote/hybrid position. Candidates may be required to come into an office located in Suffolk County, NY 2-3 times a week.
