Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical repairs to maintain plant machinery and equipment, in a timely and efficient manner.

Performs electrical work order repairs, inspections and adjustments ensuring maximum equipment

efficiency and effectiveness.

Conducts electrical troubleshooting on motors and sensors.

Conducts electrical trouble shooting on gear boxes, motors and other electric equipment.

Assist with and complete work orders, maintenance logs, waste water logs, etc.

Respond to requests for electrical maintenance assistance on production lines which may be in any area of

the plant and not limited to assigned work areas.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May lead lower level maintenance mechanics.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

Ability to communicate with others orally.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have good mathematical skills to include basic algebra for calculation of electrical/electronic equations

as applicable

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral,

or diagram form
