Indiana University School of Medicine – Department of Psychiatry Indiana University Health Physicians – Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking to fill immediate openings in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, addictions psychiatry, and adult consult-liaison psychiatry. Inpatient and outpatient opportunities are available. Academic rank and track are flexible depending on the experience and expertise of the candidate and may be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. These positions include direct clinical care, teaching, supervision, administrative duties and a rich array of research opportunities. These positions are all active sites for IUSM medical students, IU Psychiatry residents, Psychology interns, and other learners. Creative thinking and collaboration with services within the academic health center and community organizations will be crucial components of these roles. The Department of Psychiatry has a broad research, clinical, and teaching mission and maintains both a clinical psychology internship and psychiatry residency program, in addition to training rotations for medical and graduate students.
