Job Description
Midtown NYC Plaintiff's firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in personal injury or medical malpractice litigation and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of personal injury or medical malpractice cases, from initial client intake to trial.
· Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents.
· Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
· Collaborate with expert witnesses and other legal professionals to build strong cases.
· Provide clients with clear and timely legal advice throughout their case.
· Ensure all legal work is completed with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
· Attend in-person court appearances when required; however, some remote work is available for flexibility.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience handling personal injury or medical malpractice cases.
· Proven track record in managing personal injury or medical malpractice litigation, including trials.
· Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to work with medical records.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
· Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor with a client-focused approach.
· Admitted to practice law in New York State.
