Sr. Electrical Estimator

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to analyze blueprints and specifications, calculate project costs, and prepare competitive bids for electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review blueprints and specifications to determine project scope.

- Estimate material and labor needs, factoring in code requirements and site conditions.

- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.

- Conduct site visits to assess job conditions and challenges.

- Use estimating software (Accubid/LiveCount preferred) for accurate cost tracking.

- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and architects.

- Ensure all estimates meet applicable codes and industry standards.

-7+ years of experience in electrical construction and/or estimating (preferred)

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems, theory, and NEC code compliance

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

-Proficiency in electrical estimating software (Accubid and LiveCount preferred)

-Strong math and analytical skills for quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns

-Excellent communication and client-facing skills

-High attention to detail and organizational ability

-Ability to conduct site visits and assess real-world project conditions

-Experience preparing competitive bids and detailed project proposals
