Engineering Estimator
A manufacturing company in Kenosha, WI is looking for an Engineering Estimator to coordinate the administrative and technical aspects of quoting new tooling projects. This role acts as a key liaison between Sales, Accounting, and Engineering, ensuring accurate and timely execution of customer quotes and smooth transitions from quote to production.
Responsibilities of the Engineering Estimator
Initiate and log quote opportunities using Quote-to-Win or alternate systems
Download and manage drawings, models, and RFQ documentation
Input data into quote workbooks including resin type, EAU/build sizes, customer details, and manufacturing location
Collaborate with Purchasing to obtain material and component pricing based on forecasted volumes and MOQs
Work with Engineering teams to define cycle times, gate locations, secondary operations, packaging requirements, and press sizes
Process and track awarded tooling POs and distribute to internal teams
Provide tooling quotes and documentation to Engineering to support PO issuance
Enter tooling repair and modification purchase orders
Incorporate customer drawings into IQMS system
Requirements of the Engineering Estimator
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Excellent file management and documentation skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $85,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience
