Ductwork Sheet Metal Fabricator – HVAC

Oliver Heating & Cooling (Morton, PA) – Immediate Opening

Oliver Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and experienced Ductwork Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and manufacturing custom HVAC ductwork for residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in sheet metal fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities:

Cut sheet metal using tools like power saws, shears, plasma cutter, CNC machines and coil line.

Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, plasma torch, brakes, and shears.

Double-check sizes after plasma cuts.

Maintenance of shop to keep a clean and safe work environment.

Run sheet metal through rolling machines.

Maintenance and lubrication of all machines in a timely fashion.

Personal use of company provided PPE.

Requirements:

Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures and/or the maintenance of a clean work area

Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role in the HVAC industry (2-3yrs plus exp.)

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate fabrication equipment effectively.

This position requires using computer skills, dexterity and math skills

Working Conditions:

Environment:

May drive a company vehicle at times.

Working onsite in the company’s sheet metal shop.

Regular interruptions.

Department meetings/training.

Occasional out-of-department work when needed.

Physical Demands: This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of:

Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance.

Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print.

Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others; understandable voice and speech patterns.

Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to operate tools and equipment of the trade.

Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.

Use hands to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Must occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
