Key Responsibilities
Drive the implementation and sustainment of lean manufacturing systems across electronics assembly, electrical testing, and machining processes.
Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Oversee the deployment and integration of technical equipment, including custom functional test systems.
Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely resolution.
Utilize quality assurance tools such as SPC, Cpk, and measurement system analysis to support built-in quality.
Respond to production issues through Andon systems and support rapid root cause identification and resolution.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Technologies You’ll Work With
Light electrical assembly and custom-built test equipment.
Automated systems for operation, programming, maintenance, and repair.
Machining tools and processes, with an emphasis on milling and high-precision techniques.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or as a technician, ideally within PC board assembly, electrical systems, or machining.
Associate’s degree or technical certification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Solid understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Green Belt or DFSS certification.
Proficiency with tools such as Minitab and SAP.
Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
