The Supervisor Graphic Design is responsible for assisting the Manager Property Marketing with creative development of designs, layouts, and other marketing materials for our overall brand and digital presentations across various platforms for Palms Casino Resort. The incumbent should possess a working knowledge of industry software including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Strong knowledge of photographic techniques, motion graphics and equipment, and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws preferred. The position will assist in ensuring that the layout, positioning, navigation, and look and feel of content are consistent across and throughout the organization.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Review Project Requests and work directly with property verticals to update, design and output advertising and collateral materials to meet production deadlines outside of Shared Values SLAs.
Work independently with artists/agents/promoters to obtain needed assets for entertainment related activations and programming and subsequent approvals for final creative.
Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that
inspire, inform, or captivate consumers and/or provide artistic guidance for Shared Values
Adhere to established procedures and brand guidelines for creating, submitting and uploading design files to maintain and manage the property digital content database.
Collaborate with other areas of marketing to outline unique concepts and develop creative presentations. As well as create informative and thorough archival decks for specifically assigned projects, campaigns, and other property activations.
Collaborate on and support photo shoots and third-party image/footage capture (including scheduled commercial shoots off property
Maintain and adhere to file management protocols.
Meet company standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty required.
Minimum of two (2) years design experience in Marketing and Communications industry with one (1) year focus on graphic work.
Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
Compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful digital experiences and innovative design may be accepted in lieu of experience.
Expert knowledge of Macintosh computers and industry software including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Motion graphics knowledge (After Effects and 3D programs) a plus.
Strong knowledge of photographic techniques and equipment.
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting a plus.
At least 21 years of age.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in various settings including closed office and casino floor.
