Cybersecurity Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead all security related efforts for Motus IT

Maximize efficiency in system protection, networks, data, software, and information systems to guard against potential attacks.

Perform vulnerability testing and security checks and establish a threat analysis schedule.

Conduct ongoing research on cybersecurity. Stay abreast of validation procedures, security systems, and emerging threats.

Monitor internet safety problems and work cohesively with Motus IT department and managed service providers to craft dynamic solutions.

Work closely with other security personnel (internal and external) to ensure complete protection for Motus, Motus customers and Motus supply chain.

Be responsible for all audits and policies within the security framework.

Deliver technical reports and test findings with actionable preventative solutions.

Deep understanding of network and systems administration

Active Directory, OKTA, Office 365

Firewalls, networks, routers, switches, SDWAN

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors or Technical Degree

5 – 7 years of experience in a technical role

Ability to research, assess risk and create secure frameworks.

Ability to identify cyber security gaps within the company

Working knowledge of Information Security Management Systems

Working knowledge of potential threats such as social engineering, phishing, and networks

Ability to conduct penetration and vulnerability testing, analyze results and create remediation plans.

Act as an ethical hacker to determine the security of Motus’ systems and the vulnerabilities of concern to clients.

Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, MAC OS, Linux, ongoing upgrades, and new systems.
