This position is for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer supporting customer AutoAir Aftermarket Operations. This role will be responsible for supporting Inspection Process Development, CMM Programming, and support to the production inspection staff in the operation of the CMM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with programming CMMs and with inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and symbols including GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
Support dimensional inspection on a variety of parts and tools using contact and non-contact sensors on coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to determine conformance with specifications.
Perform capability studies and Gauge R&R
Troubleshoot CMM programs and resolve measurement issues to maintain smooth operational performance.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve part quality and measurement processes.
Train and mentor junior team members on CMM programming, operation, and troubleshooting to build a strong metrology team.
Ability to balance simultaneous projects while meeting assigned project timelines

Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum of 15 years of quality inspection experience
Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience
Minimum of 5 years of CAD experience
Experience working in Calibration Lab
Experience with IS9000 or AS9100
Handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.
Qualifications We Prefer
Aerospace Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) / FAA Repair Station experience
Associate degree, or higher, in STEM field
Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
Experience with Siemens NX CAD Software
Experience with LK Metrology CAMIO CMM Software
Experience with Faro CMM Arms and CAM2 Software
Experience with Polyworks Inspector
GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Experience
PAPP Experience
Experience with ISO17025 and A2LA Standards
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (6s, etc.).
Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft O365 suite.
