A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Technology Rollout Call Center Support Specialist in Smithfield, RI.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts that could fluctuate to accommodate day/night projects and different time zones

Paid training is conducted onsite, Monday through Friday within the 8 AM to 8 PM window (exact times may vary)

Responsibilities:

Take and make calls as part of a technology rollout call center, supporting multiple concurrent projects

Provide first-level technical support to on-site field technicians/vendors/contractors during technology implementations and upgrades

Update tracking applications and perform system validations while on calls

Create and send follow-up communications via email and Excel when not on calls

Learn and support multiple IT rollout projects, sometimes during evenings or overnight hours across different time zones

Adapt shift schedules based on project demands (advanced notice provided)

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred

IT hardware installation experience is preferred, but not required

Must be able to work onsite in Rhode Island 4–5 days per week

Must be able to work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust shift times based on project needs

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED
