Automation Controls Engineer – 840DSL / Gantry Systems
We are seeking an experienced 840DSL Programmer to support an automotive automation project in Cleveland, Ohio, beginning May 12th, 2025. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep knowledge of Siemens 840DSL-based Gantry systems and prior exposure to automotive manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform programming and configuration of 840DSL-based Gantry systems.
Apply and adapt the Ford FAST Template to meet system requirements and specifications.
Conduct Gantry system teaching and tuning for optimal performance.
Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth integration and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in 840DSL programming and configuration, particularly in Gantry applications.
Hands-on knowledge of the Ford FAST Template, including setup and deployment.
Practical experience in Gantry Teaching and motion coordination.
Ability to troubleshoot, modify, and optimize automation programs in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience working on Ford automation projects is a plus.
