PCB Repair Technician

Job Description

Summary

This position is part of the Verizon Clean & Screen / Repair Team.

It’s a Repair Tech position which requires component-level solder repair, testing, and troubleshooting on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board).

Required 2+ years of experience in through-hole and surface mount soldering. Need component-level soldering repair, testing, and troubleshooting on PCBs. Radio Antennae's acumen is plus

Shift 4:00 A.M -12:30 pm PST

Requirements

• Proven ability to test and troubleshoot various types of electronic circuit boards.

• Experience in board-level and multi-layer board repair of electronics products.

• Experience with Set Top Boxes and Gateways Circuits.

• Experience with voltmeter and oscilloscope.

• Proven track record of experience in soldering with various types of IC packages.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask.

• Excellent analytical, written verbal communication skills.

• Proactive problem-solving ability.

• Desirable knowledge and experience in IPC A-610 & IPC-7711

• Minimum 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent certification or equivalent job experience in electronics or technical role.
