Company Description: We are an API-licensed manufacturer / fabricator of API, semi-premium, and premium OCTG (oil country tubular goods) connections. The facility also provides API and semi-premium threading of OCTG tubing and casing as well as trans-loading services for its products.
Job Responsibilities:
Modify, maintain, and reconcile release reports
Interface with truck drivers and pipe customers to ensure accuracy of orders
Manage customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, cancellations, etc.
Resolve all supplier issues regarding shortages, missing materials, late deliveries, etc.
Serve as main point of contacts for scope of transportation methods
Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications
Data entry and hard copy retention for shipments
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists
Coordinate communication between operations and suppliers to ensure a smooth execution of all shipping and receiving tasks
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience working with OCTG products - must be able to identify grades, sizes, specs / OD's visibly and by stencil
High School diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree a plus
Two (2)+ years of experience in operations related to Inventory Management, Logistics, and/or Operations Accounting
Skills / Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain impeccable attendance record
Ability to remain calm, organized, and methodical in a fast-paced environment with potentially high levels of frustration
Ability to operate relevant computer applications without assistance
Ability to self-manage an effective and efficient workflow
Proficiency in English – reading and writing
