ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and review civil engineering designs for renewable energy projects, including site development, grading, drainage, and foundations.

Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to optimize structural and civil components.

Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry’s best practices.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.

Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project summaries.

Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data to complete work assignments using computer modelling software

Create and review drawings using CAD tools

Ensure sites meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements

Deliver civil engineering designs and optimization in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and industry practices

Day-to-day management of assigned projects

Plan, define project tasks, schedule, and deliver on-time execution of civil scope of work and project deliverables

Work closely with the RRC Project Managers and Civil Engineering Group Manager in the successful execution of work

Be responsive to the needs of the client and project requirements

Maintain accurate records of design modifications, field observations, and project milestones.

Contribute to the development of best practices, standard operating procedures, and engineering guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or related industries.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, etc.).

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
