What does a successful Tech Lead, Data Architecture do?

We are seeking seasoned Data Architect with extensive experience in architecting ETL solutions with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)/Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide IDMC applications to meet the evolving needs of our organization. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of our data systems.

What you will do:

Collaborate within a team environment in development, testing, and support of software development project lifecycles

Understand incoming data elements, map them with existing data structures and design data interfaces with underlying business logic

Prepare and review any necessary technical documentation prepared by team

Track and report daily and weekly activities

Perform code reviews and code remediation. Design unit test scenarios and integration tests

Participate in on-call support for product releases

Research problems discovered by QA or product management and develop solutions to the problems

Perform additional duties as determined by business needs and as directed by management

What you will need to have:

Must have 8 to 10 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)/Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) with Snowflake as Cloud Data Warehouse, unit testing, code review, coding standards, Scrum (Agile), JIRA

Ability to track progress against assigned tasks, report status, and proactively identify issues

Demonstrate the ability to present information effectively in communications with peers and project management teams

Highly organized and works well in a fast paced, fluid and dynamic environment

Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices

Demonstrate ability to lead and mentor technical teams

What would be great to have:

Experience in working in a Scrum Development Team

Banking and Financial Services experience, preferably, Cards and Payments domain

Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in IDMC/IICS
