Advanced CNC Maintenance Technician

Location: Springfield, MO

Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Starting Pay: $22.52 per hour or higher dependent on experience.

Why This Role Matters: Mechanically savvy and adept at resolving complex mechanical issues? This role places you at the heart of CNC maintenance, where your skills ensure smooth operations and enhanced mechanical performance across the board.

Responsibilities:

Expertly manage installations, repairs, and maintenance across CNC systems.

Reassemble machinery with precision following maintenance activity.

Proactively detect machine issues ensuring prolonged efficiency.

Provide critical assessments of defective machinery for strategic improvements.

Follow specified processes for applying lubricants and adhesives.

Accurately replace machinery components as dictated by production needs.

Dismantle equipment smoothly for critical repairs using advanced tools.

Document all aspects of machine maintenance for historical tracking.

Read and act on work orders for technical interventions.

Set, regulate, and optimize logistical machine operations.

Coordinate with other departments for seamless equipment changes.

Manage inventory levels to support continued operational success.

Transport tools, materials, and machinery to necessary work zones.

Efficiently clear outdated parts to maintain structured workspaces.

Thoroughly clean all machinery parts and maintain sleek operational standards.

Conduct vital repairs on machine compartment linings.

Show initiative in additional assigned duties.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated CNC maintenance expertise over at least three years.

Competencies:

Strong background in electrical and mechanical system servicing.

Familiarity with personal protection methods and workplace safety regulations.

Skilled in the interpretation of complex schematics for repairs.

Proficient with essential tools including cranes and forklifts.

Flexible regarding shift changes and overtime commitments.

Work Dynamics: The role requires in-person operations involving varied tasks like lifting heavy objects and proximity to mechanical equipment. Be prepared for conditions featuring chemical use, heat, cold, and consistent noise levels.
