Salesforce Platform Engineer

This hybrid remote position requires on-site work in Bethesda, MD. (Must be local to DC, MD, VA).

Due to Federal Government Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident.

PRISM is looking for a Lead Salesforce Platform Engineer like you to architect and build within our large Salesforce environment! You'll be at the forefront of design and custom development using Apex, JavaScript, LWC, REST API, and GraphQL, working with other engineering teams in continuous, iterative deployments. In This Role, You Will:

Serve as both a technical architect and a hands-on Salesforce developer.

Design and oversee secure, scalable, and high-performance integration architectures with our internal systems.

Make well-informed architectural choices by carefully considering tradeoffs and benefits.

Utilize your deep Salesforce expertise, keeping up with the latest releases and guiding on new capabilities.

Champion UX and design strategies to improve platform adoption.

Identify opportunities to optimize processes and systems for better efficiency and user experience.

Collaborate closely with business analysts and product managers to translate requirements into effective solutions.

Develop and manage off-platform automation scripts using Python.

Contribute to security by reviewing Shield event logs and alerts.

What You Bring to the Table:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities.

8+ years of professional software development experience.

6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing highly customized Salesforce applications, with a focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Aura Components.
